How Does A Impact Crusher Work

1. Material Feeding: Raw materials enter the crushing chamber through the feed chute and fall onto the high-speed rotating rotor.

2. High-Velocity Impact: The rotor's hammers/blow bars violently throw materials against the impact plates, causing fractures along natural cleavage lines.

3. Controlled Fragmentation: Repeated impacts between hammers, plates and material-on-material collisions progressively reduce particle size. Adjustable clearance determines final output gradation.

4. Product Discharge: Properly sized particles exit through the bottom gap, while oversize materials continue circulating for further crushing until reaching specification.
