An impact crusher crushes medium-hard, brittle materials (limestone, concrete, coal) using high-speed rotor impact. It delivers uniform, cubical aggregates with adjustable output size (typically 20–50 mm). Ideal for mining, construction, and recycling due to high efficiency, simple structure, and low maintenance. Not suitable for very hard or sticky materials.

How Does A Impact Crusher Work
1. Material Feeding: Raw materials enter the crushing chamber through the feed chute and fall onto the high-speed rotating rotor.
2. High-Velocity Impact: The rotor's hammers/blow bars violently throw materials against the impact plates, causing fractures along natural cleavage lines.
3. Controlled Fragmentation: Repeated impacts between hammers, plates and material-on-material collisions progressively reduce particle size. Adjustable clearance determines final output gradation.
4. Product Discharge: Properly sized particles exit through the bottom gap, while oversize materials continue circulating for further crushing until reaching specification.
