Rotary Dryer

Rotary Dryer

Capacity: 1-100TPH
Feeding Size: 0-50mm
Moisture content: 1-10%(0-50 mm)
Handling Materials: Concentrate, ammonium sulfate, PVC powder, feed, organic fertilizer, etc.

Rotary dryer reduces moisture from 15–40% to 1–10% in materials (0–50mm) like ores, fertilizers, and biomass, handling 1–100t/h. Heated by gas, coal, or steam (200–800°C), it suits high-volume drying but avoids heat-sensitive or ultrafine powders.

Advantages

Rotary dryer with high drying capacity

01.

High Capacity

Handles 1–100t/h throughput for diverse materials (0–50mm), from ores to biomass, with customizable drum lengths for extended drying time.

Rotary dryer with flexible fuel options

02.

Fuel Flexibility

Supports gas, coal, oil, or steam heating (200–800°C), adapting to local energy availability and cost requirements.

Rotary dryer with robust drum construction

03.

Robust Construction

Carbon steel or stainless steel drums with lifters endure abrasive materials (iron ore) for 10+ years of service.

Rotary dryer with easy moisture control

04.

Easy Control

Adjustable rotation speed (2–8 RPM) and temperature optimize moisture reduction (to 1–10%) for different materials.

How Does A Rotary Dryer Work

1. Material Feeding: Wet feedstock (15–40% moisture, 0–50mm) enters the rotating drum via a conveyor, distributed evenly by internal lifters/flights.

2. Heat Transfer: Hot air (200–800°C) flows counter-currently, evaporating moisture as the drum rotates (2–8 RPM), maximizing contact time.

3. Drying Progression: Lifters cascade materials through the hot air stream, ensuring uniform drying while preventing clumping or overheating.

4. Product Discharge: Dry product (1–10% moisture) exits the drum’s end, while exhaust gases pass through dust collectors (cyclones/bag filters).
