How Does A Portable Gold Separation Station Work
1. Ore Preparation: Placer gravels (0–20 mm) are screened to remove oversize rocks, while hard rock ores are crushed to ≤2 mm by a mini jaw crusher.
2. Gravity Concentration: Material enters a centrifugal concentrator (Knelson, 40–200 G) or sluice box, where gold densifies while lighter gangue washes away.
3. Secondary Refinement: Concentrates pass through a shaking table or spiral separator to upgrade gold purity (50–90% Au) by removing residual sulfides/black sands.
4. Tailings Management: Waste rocks exit the system, while process water is recycled via settling tanks to minimize environmental impact.
