Background
Mr. Andrew comes from Brazil, he wants a sand making machine, the capacity requirement is 300 tons per hour. The material is the broken river stone, the maximum size is 40mm, the granularity required for discharging is 1-5mm. The moisture content of the material is about 7%, and the flake content of the discharging needle is required to be less than 10%.
Solutions
According to client's requirements, we chose the vertical impact sand making machine. The 300-ton per hour vertical impact (VSI) sand making process begins with river stone ≤50mm being evenly fed into the crusher via a vibrating feeder, where high-speed rotating impeller blades (70-80m/s) violently propel the material against surrounding anvils or rock liners in the crushing chamber, achieving both impact crushing and self-grinding to produce well-shaped 0-5mm sand; the discharged material then enters a closed-circuit screening system where oversized particles are returned for re-crushing while qualified sand is conveyed to storage, with optional air classifiers or water spray systems integrated for precise gradation control and dust suppression, all monitored by an automated PLC system that adjusts rotor speed and feed rate in real-time to maintain optimal production efficiency and product quality.
